Information
Kalam Arabi applies a peer review process to ensure the quality, originality, and relevance of every manuscript submitted to the journal. Each manuscript is first checked by the editorial team to assess its suitability with the journal’s focus and scope, writing format, originality, and basic academic quality. Manuscripts that do not meet the journal’s requirements may be returned to the author for revision or rejected at the initial screening stage.
Manuscripts that pass the initial editorial screening will be sent to reviewers who have expertise in Arabic language studies, Arabic linguistics, Arabic language education, or related fields. The reviewers evaluate the manuscript based on its originality, clarity, research method, theoretical contribution, data analysis, discussion, and relevance to the field. The review process is conducted objectively and confidentially.
Based on the reviewers’ recommendations, the editor may decide that the manuscript is accepted, accepted with minor revisions, requires major revisions, or rejected. Authors are required to revise their manuscripts according to the reviewers’ comments and submit the revised version within the specified time. The final decision regarding publication is made by the editor based on the quality of the revised manuscript and its compliance with the journal’s standards.
Kalam Arabi is committed to maintaining a fair, transparent, and ethical review process in order to publish high-quality scholarly works in the field of Arabic language and Arabic language education.
